Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All PDF processing happens entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib JavaScript library. Your files are loaded into your browser's memory, processed locally, and the result is downloaded directly to your device. No file data is ever transmitted over the network.
Are PDFs secure to process online?
It depends on the tool. Services that upload your PDF to a server expose your document to network interception, server-side logging, and potential data retention. UtilDaily's PDF tools process everything client-side — the same security model as opening a PDF in your local PDF reader, but with the convenience of a web tool.
What PDF operations are supported?
Currently you can merge multiple PDFs into a single document. Images can be converted to PDF using the Image to PDF tool. We plan to add PDF splitting, page extraction, and PDF compression based on user demand.
